The chef Toby Burrowes has left his head chef role at the glitzy Japanese concept Zuma to open his own restaurant in Mayfair, London. Currently unnamed, the chef told CODE he has taken over the former Street XO site on Burlington Street and is readying to launch in the next couple of months.
The restaurant group Corbin & King has been bought by the Minor Hotel Group. Corbin & King co-founder Jeremy King, known for helping to establish the likes of The Wolseley and Brasserie Zedel, confirmed the sale in the early hours of Friday morning.
