Tea rooms aren't unusual in this neck of the woods, but here you'll find stylish Scandi furniture, an art gallery, top-notch baking and 'definitely the best espresso’ for miles around. Alongside the sweet stuff (think chocolate cardamom cake and blueberry crumble), the kitchen serves up Turkish eggs and Yorkshire rarebit, plus a handful of interesting salads. The house meze is a generous bowl of warm falafel, roasted red pepper, houmous, grains and pomegranate molasses – just the job if you've completed the stunning walk round the Hole of Horcum. There’s a monthly supper club too, and a self-contained letting apartment upstairs.
