A move round the corner to Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre hasn't dampened Eat Me's glorious indie spirit or commitment to fair prices and good coffee – though it does offer slightly more wiggle room than the old premises did. A globetrotting menu takes in house ramen, Korean fried chicken and croque monsieur as well as brunch, burgers and baked pasta. Those who curse eccentricity for its own sake would be well advised to keep quiet and have a chip butty with cheese sauce.
