StreetSmart launch their 2024 campaign

Now in its 26th year, StreetSmart is a charity that partners with venues to raise money for the homeless. At participating restaurants during the festive months of November and December, a voluntary £1 is added to diners' bills with every penny going to support homelessness projects. Last year, StreetSmart raised a record amount of £1,059,000 at restaurants across the UK including St John, The Little Chartroom, Marmo and more.


Artusi to open in Soho

Peckham's Artusi will open a second site in Soho on Friday 1 November. Taking over the former Cafe Kitty site at Underbelly Boulevard, the restaurant will offer a pre theatre set menu (two courses for £25) as well as an à la carte. With their sister venue Marcella located in Deptford, this will be the first central London site for the team.



The Braywood to open in Berkshire

From the team behind The Woodspeen, the Braywood will open in November on the site of the former Royal Oak in Bray. Sam Brennan (formerly head chef at the Woodspeen) will lead the kitchen. And the restaurant group have announced that they will be opening a new venue in Fitzrovia, which will be their first site in London.
