Pub-goers in the Cotswolds have two more options for lunch, dinner or just a drink with the news that chef Tom Noest and manager Pete Creed have expanded their growing collection.
The Sherborne Arms in Northleach, and The Fox Inn, Broadwell, bring the pair’s pub portfolio to five, joining the The Bell at Langford (opened in 2017), The Little Bell at Soho Farmhouse (2019) and The Lamb at Shipton under Wychwood (July 2021).
The Sherborne Arms had been derelict for three years when the pair took on the lease in March, completing the renovation and opening a 100-cover restaurant on May 28th. Three bedrooms will follow in July. On the menu? Expect simple, hearty fare such as devilled kidneys on toast, venison lasagne, and sticky toffee pudding, served in a relaxed setting in the heart of the market town.
The business partners quietly took on the management of the Donnington Brewery-owned Fox Inn in Broadwell in March. The pub remains true to its ‘local’ purpose, with drinkers welcome and pub classics served alongside the likes of iberico pork bavette with asparagus and romesco sauce, and cote de boeuf to share.
