Come for a pint and a snack, or linger over dinner at this refurbished pub with rooms just outside Bury St Edmunds. Chef Chris Lee brings years of classical cooking at the Bildeston Crown to Fornham All Saints, and he’s as much a stickler for great ingredients here as he was there. Red Poll burgers can become 'deluxe' with truffle mayo, while Caesar salad can be elevated from chicken to lobster. It’s pub grub dialled up a notch, but it doesn't have to be that way – fish and chips, a simple veggie curry or a lunchtime sandwich with fries are simpler options.
