There’s a lot of ‘brunchy-lunchy love’ for this cool, informal spot – a mini food emporium and daytime café rolled into one. The blackboard menu promises everything from brioche French toast with poached pears to Turkish eggs with garlic yoghurt and roasted squash, although one fan plumps for their toasted Milwaukee rye bread piled high with mashed avocado, halloumi, roasted tomatoes, basil mayo, herb salad, nuts and seeds (add some crispy bacon if you’re in the mood). Pancakes, waffles and ice creams also do the business, especially if you have kids in tow. Alternatively, just drop by for excellent coffee and cake. In short, ‘a fun place to know.’
