Wednesday night is paella night at this likeable local asset – a Spanish deli during the day before trading up to a restaurant in the evening. Expect lots of regional classics and more creative ideas ranging from artisan cured meats and garlicky pickled mushrooms with chilli to local calamari with Bomba rice and tomato salsa or acorn-fed Ibérico pork belly with alubia beans, clams, parsley and garlic. Finish in traditional style with churros, burnt Basque cheesecake or Spanish regional cheeses served on an olive-wood board. There’s an excellent-value ‘table sharing menu’ too, while wines naturally go big on titular Albariño whites. Payment by card only.
